Hello to you fine people,

What a crazy past week....  Here the recap: busy, busy, busy :-)    Kay and Diana are now officially husband and wife.  The Wedding took place in Oranienburg (above picture).  It was a wonderful ceremony... I am sure not one eye remained dry.  Kay, as usual, looked handsome, and Diana... wow... she looked stunning... What a beautiful couple !!!  After the ceremony we drove back to Teltow to meet up with the other 90 or so guests.   As usual, click the images for larger view.

[Was fuer eine verrueckte vergangene Woche...

A gift exchange between the groom and bride took everyone's breath away.  She surprised him with a motorcycle (at first, she presented him with a gift certificate for a two day rental of his favorite motorcycle and some time later, she retracted the gift, explaining, a mistake had been made.  He was taken outside where a trailer was covered in a red blanket, for him to pull down and reveal his actual gift.  A Triumph Rocket ....  i forgot the rest of the name... a pretty black thing on two wheels!!)

After we all dried our tears once again for this evening, Kay revealed his gift to his most precious person in the world.  He named a Star after her... we were not equipped well enough for all the tears, that's for sure.

Kay and Diana wanted to recreate something on the dance floor they saw in American movies, a line dance which was to be captured on video.  About 6 of us stepped on the dance floor to show the rest what we had in mind without much of an introduction.  The cupid shuffle started to play and it couldn't be stopped, before we knew it, a bunch of Germans were stepping to the left.. the right, kicked it and had a fantastic time with it... Globalization at its best ;-)   The festivities went on until the early morning... What a great union and party.

Globalization at its best :-)  Die Feierlichkeit ging bis in den fruehen Morgen... Welch' eine tolle Verbindung und Party.]

The following days were used to clean, recover and regroup ;-)   Friday, the 7th of June was a day of goodbyes.  Andre and I started our journey to Singapore.  After a huge delay in Berlin Tegel, we finally made  it to Frankfurt with 30 minutes time to catch our connection to Singapore.  Lucky for us, that plane also was delayed and thus, our luggage found its way to the plane as well.  12 hours after departure in Frankfurt, we arrived at Changi Airport.

Today, June 8th, we have a full day of recovery in Singapore before leaving to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Let's see what we can see... I shall report later ;-)

Until then...  Bis dann...    Hugs and kisses....

  4. Kay & Diane looked wonderful and so happy; however, I think all my three gals looked stunning. Miss all of you, but looking forward to the rest of your travels. Glad the first legs have gone without too many incidences - now onward & forward.
